A woman told the Pima County Sheriff's Department that a man--living in a pickup truck in her neighbor's yard, just outside her widow--often urinated in plain view.
The woman said the man caused her dogs to frequently bark and would not use the bathroom facilities within the house, but would instead urinate around his camper.
According to the report, the woman was "an artisan of some type," who needed light for her work. However, she reportedly had to keep her blinds closed to avoid seeing the man's bathroom sessions.
The woman alleged the man had also trespassed on her property and would often look in the windows of her workshop. She suspected the man was "stealing her ideas and taking them to Mexico."
A deputy was unable to make personal contact with the neighbors and instead left a note informing them that the "situation needed to stop," the report stated. There was no further information at the time of the report.
Unwanted Dog Grooming
Vail, Nov. 4, 11:10 a.m.
A woman told authorities that someone had cut the hair on her dog's tail, a PCSD report said.
According to the report, the woman said someone had snipped 6 or 7 inches of hair from her dog's tail while she was at work.
She also directed the deputy's attention to a portion of her rear fence with a neighbor that had been pushed over. It appeared as if someone had come over the fence, the report said.
The deputy took pictures of the dog, Dippy, and the busted fence, and then noted in the report that the cartilage in the dog's tail had not been cut. "There was no animal cruelty, just the trimming of the hair," the report stated.
There were no suspects or leads at the time of the report.
Quick Pawn
Sunrise Drive and Sabino Canyon Road, Nov. 2, 12:40 p.m.
A student at a local boarding school admitted taking a guitar from a peer and pawning it, a PCSD report said.
The student had reportedly taken the Gibson electric guitar from the peer's room and pawned it for $300. He then spent the money over the weekend, he said.
The value of the guitar was between $1,589 and $2,338. Its owner was able to get it back from the shop.
Authorities charged the suspect with one count of first-degree trafficking in stolen property and a felony count of theft, as the item was worth more than $1,500. He was transported to Pima County Adult Detention Center.
