About $6,000 worth of goods were stolen from a house where a woman threw a week-long party--despite explicit warnings from her traveling father not to have over any guests, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report stated.
The stolen items included a $3,000 laptop, seven cameras, two camcorders, various DVDs, two DVD players, surround-sound speakers and a painting.
The 20-year-old daughter was kicked out of the home when her father confronted her about the electronic equipment and artwork missing from the family room. She was also supposed to be looking for a job while he was gone, the father said.
Deputies contacted the daughter at a Motel 6, where she was hanging out with four other people who attended the non-stop shindig.
She said she was checking around with friends to see if anyone knew who had taken the items. The other revelers said they didn't know who was responsible.
Deputies provided everyone with the case number and contact information in case anything was discovered.

According to a PCSD report, a man holding up a campaign sign on a street corner was nearly hit in the face by a water bottle tossed from a passing vehicle.
Three young men had twice driven by the street corner in a red Ford Explorer and shouted obscenities, the man said. On the third go-around, he said one of them threw the bottle at him, nearly striking him in the face.
The man provided a deputy with the license plate number, which was used to track down the Explorer's owner at her home. She said her son was currently driving the vehicle after picking up a friend.
Authorities were unable to contact the driver at the time of the report.

West River Road and North La Cholla Boulevard, Oct. 31, 7:09 p.m.
A trio of teenage boys pushed an 11-year-old girl down and stole her Halloween candy, a PCSD report said.
The girl, who phoned authorities from home, said she suffered no injuries in the incident. She added that she would not be able to identify the thieves, as they were wearing costumes at the time.
There was no further information at the time of the report.
