Eat Like an Emperor

Harvest Moon, 12125 N. Oracle Road, is hosting its Man Ham Emperor Feast at 5 p.m., Sunday, April 6. Chef/owner, Wanda Zhang is serving up a great six-course Chinese dinner with wine pairing for $50 a person. The meal includes such gems as wok-seared lobster and Peking duck roll. Also check out Harvest Moon's happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. daily, with all appetizers and drinks 50 percent off.

Oh, the Suspense

Something is new coming to the dining cluster at Sunrise Drive and North Campbell Avenue. A Twitter account boasting the name Artigiani seems to be connected to a new restaurant, although details have been kept mostly hush-hush so far. (That might be fun for some, but it's pretty annoying to a food-beat writer.) But by the looks of the Twitter feed, it will certainly be interesting. New Dining Joint Alert

The former Hummingbird Café location at 7002 E. Broadway Blvd. has a new tenant, and Baja Café looks more exciting than a typical breakfast/lunch spot. The offerings include "Coyote Benedict" (Hatch green chiles, chipotle aioli, jalapeño bacon) and a scramble with nopalitos. I wish the new place luck. More Bread & Butter

Bread & Butter Café, a perennial favorite located at 22nd Street and Columbus Boulevard, is expanding. A second Bread & Butter is under construction at 9431 E. 22nd St., in the Fry's shopping center. Plans call for opening in the breakfast spot-deprived neighborhood (take that, Village Inn) by mid-May. Keep up with the plans at breadandbuttercafetucson.com.

Food Party Reminder

The Viva La Local Food Festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Sunday, April 6, at Rillito Downs Racetrack, at First Avenue and the Rillito. This is like a Super Bowl of local eating events (I'd call it the Final Four of eating, but that might not sit well with anguished fans of Wildcats hoops). So stop by and enjoy some of the best food, drink and produce that Southern Arizona has to offer. But, please, if your favorite food truck sells out, don't start a riot.
