New: Firkin and FriarFirkin and Friar recently opened at 6958 E. Tanque Verde Road (in the spot that was formerly Fuego). The Canadian franchise plans to open three more Firkins in the Tucson area. Sixth St., a family-owned grocery dating back to 1926, for a coffee tasting presented by Tucson's homegrown Arbuckle Coffee Roasters. Learn everything you ever wanted to know about all of the different roasts plus organic, fair trade, arabica and robusta coffee, from its roots in Ethiopia to the Americas. ReopenedThe Dish and Rumrunner have been architecturally updated in a freestanding building (that's housed many businesses) located at 3131 E. First St.; 326-0121. Jerry Hernandez is the executive chef at the Dish, and his menu has been pared down to include small dishes, green dishes and a handful of big dishes. Flavors and presentation pop.
