The Taxman Cometh

This year, you have until Tuesday, April 17, to pay the IRS. On April 17, Terra Cotta will be offering 17 percent off your lunch or dinner bill (before tax and gratuity). You must request the "tax day special" when you order to receive the discount. La Salsa No. 6

A sixth La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill has opened at 3007 E. Speedway Boulevard, at Country Club Road. The locally owned franchise features Mexico City cuisine in a family atmosphere. This restaurant showcases a new décor and an expanded salsa bar featuring eight freshly made salsas, plus grilled white meat chicken, sirloin steak, mahi-mahi, tiger shrimp and chile-lime salads. Menu items range from $2.70 to $8.15. A children's menu, vegetarian items and a selection of popular domestic and imported beer are available; 326-4040.


Fox vs. Fox

Blanco Tacos + Tequila is coming soon to La Encantada Shopping Center at 2905 E. Skyline Drive. The latest creation from the award-winning Fox Restaurant Concepts group, Blanco Tacos + Tequila will feature the updated flavors and spirit of Mexico in an intimate and casual atmosphere where nothing costs more than $20. Blanco will compete with NoRTH, yet another Fox restaurant at La Encantada.


Dine Out for Safety

The 10th annual fundraiser for the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault will be held on Wednesday, April 18. Restaurants will donate up to 20 percent of their day's proceeds to support the center's mission.
