Crawfish Festival Redux

After a successful March event, the French Quarter's third annual Crawfish Festival returns. Crawfish are in season for a few weeks in the spring; c'mon down Friday and Saturday, April 14 and 15, from 11 a.m. until closing. According to owner Bryce Ziegler, the crawfish are flown in from Louisiana especially for this event. Novice eaters will receive personal instructions on how to consume; 3146 E. Women in Wine

The first meeting of the newly organized Tucson chapter of the Women for WineSense will be held Wednesday, April 19, at 58 Degrees and Holding Co. Learn about the evolution of wine from viticulture and vinification to distribution by three women pioneers in the industry, and enjoy a tasting of their favorite wines. Food Court Finds

The Southern Arizona Home Builders Association (SAHBA) Home Show happens this weekend (April 7-9 at the Tucson Convention Center), and when you're tired of looking at solar panels and landscape options, head over to the farmers' market near the west entrance of the convention center to find local vendors such as the Produce Corral, prickly pear foods from Arizona Cactus Ranch and more. Once again, barbeque is in the air as BBQ4U will be fixing steak sandwiches and burritos.
