Mina's Thai
Two months ago, when the city put the squeeze on Mina's Thai mobile catering truck it rolled into a more permanent location at River Center, 5575 E. River Road, at Craycroft. Readers tell me that it has the best pad Thai noodles in Tucson. Open Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 4:30-9 p.m.

Chocolate Immersion
Attention chocolate lovers: Pastry chef Ashley Moore will teach five classes at Pima Community College from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 6, 13 and 20 and Dec. 4 and 11. The first class will be a history and tasting session of chocolates from around the world; the remaining four sessions will be hands-on chocolate truffles, desserts, candy making and more.
