Old Spanish Trail SteakhouseRecently opened by first-time restaurateur Terry Taggart, the Old Spanish Trail Steakhouse resides where Webb's Steakhouse previously served the southeast and Vail for 27 years. Bordeaux HurrahOn Sept. 8, Sullivan's Steakhouse celebrates the 2000 vintage of Bordeaux wines with a five-course dinner to complement the earthy, robust Medoc characteristics. Ed Bennett, new executive chef, honed his skills with Hacienda Del Sol and the Omni Resort and brings vast culinary creativity to the plate. The cost is $145 per person plus tax and gratuity. Café Terra Cotta UpdateThe cause of the fire is still under investigation by their insurance company. The Lurias have every intention of rebuilding and are working with architects and engineers to fulfill Pima County's reconstruction requirements. No completion timetable has yet been determined, though they hope to reopen near the first of the year.
