For the next few months, Feast will serve lunch at the Friends House in the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Like the plants, the menu of artistic sandwiches, soups and desserts changes weekly.

Wild Wings and Other Things
Wings--locally owned and operated by Rich Smith--serves up no less than 18 different kinds of buffalo wings. The most popular flavors? Garlic-Parmesan, lemon-pepper and hot, any of which should go well with the smoothie-type alcoholic drinks coming in April. Wings is located at 3007 E. Speedway Blvd., open daily from 11 a.m., 881-0003.
Thumb Salad
A woman in Canton, Ohio, bit into a human thumb while eating a salad at a Red Robin Restaurant. The woman (who thought the thumb was gristle) worked hard to swallow the secret ingredient, which a restaurant worker had lost earlier in the day while chopping lettuce. I once lost a fake fingernail in a meatloaf I made for my fiancé's family; we never did make it to the altar.
