It's a Sushi World After All
Sushi World recently opened in the former Housenka space and serves Japanese-Korean plates, noodle soups and, of course, sushi. The tempura is so light, it practically flies off the plate--even the tempura banana, the Japanese version of fried plantain. Located at 1800 E. Fort Lowell Road, 795-7121.
Yoshimatsu
Take away the road construction, and Campbell Avenue pops as the new restaurant row. On a recent Thursday night, Yoshimatsu--the healthy Japanese eatery in the midst of its grand opening at a more spacious location (formerly Carrows)--turned away throngs of diners because they ran out of food. What about the Boy Scouts motto of being prepared?
Opa!
Fromino's Greek Café recently moved into a much bigger space formerly occupied by a computer store. The family-owned business is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., for takeout, catering and dine-in at 3242 E. Speedway Blvd., 327-8321.
