Nine Questions

Cindy Craig works for Arizona Lotus Corporation as the marketing director for radio stations KFMA FM 92.1 and KLPX FM 96.1. Is it hard for a metal chick like Craig to deal with classic rock on a daily basis? "No," she says, "I like to indulge in all types of music."

What was the first concert you ever saw?

Boyz II Men at the Tucson Convention Center. I think it was in 1990.

What CDs are in your changer right now?

Into the Wild soundtrack; Amon Amarth, With Oden on Our Side; Avenged Sevenfold, Live in the LBC and Diamonds in the Rough; Vampire Weekend, self-titled; The Offspring, Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace; Pantera, Vulgar Display of Power; Slipknot, All Hope Is Gone.

How many total albums do you own (CDs, vinyl, cassettes, 8-tracks)?

I have more than 400 CDs.

Do you download music, and if so, legally or illegally?

On occasion I do, and yes, legally.

What was the first album you owned?

I am going to lose all cred for this, but it was Milli Vanilli.

What song would you like to have played at your funeral?

I would have a soundtrack, but No. 1 on that CD would have to be Pantera's "Walk," and then 2Pac's "California Love." I know that's two songs.

Musically speaking, what do you love that your friends don't know about? What's your favorite guilty pleasure?

I'm pretty open about all the music I listen to; I'm a sucker for a really good ballad.

What band or artist changed your life, and how?

That is a really tough question; there are so many amazing artists--but I'll have to go with Bob Marley and Legend. There are no words for how incredible that album is, and it still, to this day, reminds me to appreciate all things.

Figurative gun to your head, what is your favorite album of all time?

Third Eye Blind's self-titled album. Awesome.
