Ditto regarding Esquer's "The Girl". Also Katie Haverly's "Pluto" and the Walbank/Sherman collaboration, "Searching the Desert for the Blues" are notable. I'm sure I'm missing others as 2018 was a good year in Tucson music. It would be nice to know of all the releases considered as I'm still learning what's out there. Love to see more comments in this regard too.
Right, so it could have been an awesome 'space pirate' vibed movie, but it went astray and became more of a pristine, no duct tape, Saving Private Ryan? Arrhhh! They're no doubt kicking themselves for going with Damon instead of Depp.
One and done for us. Apart from the service, beware the surprise snifter, i.e. WOB doesn't like to confide beforehand just how much beer you'll actually get for your $7. There are just too many better options nearby, though perhaps none as glitzy.
Say it ain't so! Year 2012 has been hell for restaurant news. Several long-standing favorite places closed and now a great food writer is moving on. I'm reflecting harder on Mayan calendar wisdom.
