I am the son of a legal immigrant (republican even) and I am all for immigration. I am against doing it illegally. In this article it states there is an "Anti-immigrant mentality" but that is not true, there is an anti-ILLEGAL-immigration mentality. I agree people can't be illegal, but the process in which they get here can be. Calling republicans anti-immigrant is name calling not truth telling.
The Mexican American Studies classes that are being referred to were never audited due to protest, but the African American Studies were audited. Why is it that? I am not sure and would like to tell you what I think and can not prove but I will not be like the write of this article. I know it was said that auditing such classes is racist, but if that were the case then I guess auditing an English or Spanish class would be too. No one is protesting those classes being audited.
