Ironwood Festival

Kids and families participate in several free activities from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and a dance party takes place from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday, May 14, all to celebrate Ironwood National Park and benefit the Audubon Society's Mason Center. Morning activities include nature walks and exhibits staffed by many wildlife, ecology and environmental organizations. Free. The dance from 5 to 10 p.m. features pizza and wine vendors; beer from a local brewery; live rock and blues from the '60s and '70s; and the Still Cruisin' dance band. $5. Bring a cup and a chair.
