"My Afghanistan: Life in the Forbidden Zone," a documentary about a Danish journalist of Afghan origin who equips rural afghans to film their daily lives including the impact of decades of war, is followed by a discussion with Maggy Zanger and Noorullah Dawari. Zanger is a professor in the UA School of Journalism, an affiliated faculty member of the UA Center for Middle Eastern Studies, and a project director of a three-year partnership project to help develop a journalism department with Nangarhar University in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
