Tom Danehy. Public monies for education....is it a form of welfare?....or is it a
form of prudent investment?
Am for Education Voucher System for all Arizona children and my sense of
public monies for education...it is a prudent investment. And every public
monies for education (be it home, private, public) expenditures should
have full accounting. Tom keep your watchdog eyes on all the spending...
don't let any spender off the hook.
Sullivan on McCain: "Why Does Anyone Still Take Him Seriously?"
Answer: Many of John McCain's supporter think its time for John
to come back to Arizona and retire.
Jim Nintzel the above post indicates a "larger" question: "...The resilient
sectarian warfare in the middle east demonstrates day after day???"
What and/or who is keeping "the resilient warfare" rolling on???
The down-sizing of our defense...may have a good out come....But will
China (et al) like the reduction of our defense?...Many of the piece parts
of our systems are made in China,...,etc.
The open view for the folks of Arizona should be the 100% education voucher
system for each child of Arizona, via their parent for home, private, or public
schooling.
The overall outcome will give us a mix of 5% home, 20% private and 75% public
schooling.
The education voucher system will also honor two rights:
(1) The child's right to basis education/training.
(2) The prior-right of parents to educate/train their child.
1) David, your editorial post/letter is interesting. I'm a Democrat and am a
promoter of 100% Education Vouchers for all Arizona children. But I have
not received any funds from endowed sources. In this country our
constitution(s) protect our rights of free speech and free association.
2) Seems to me that your right, Huppenthal is the state education sup....but in
the spirit of free thought and free speech he does indicate that private schooling
is a legal choice for our children.
3) Dave, agree with your opening comment: "...The whole story deserves one
of those complicated diagrams, etc..." The actual complications are real and find
their way back into our voter unfriendly elections/campaigns laws. Our
elections/campaigns laws need to be up-graded to reflect every individual voter's
"Full Voting Rights". This is a needed subject of your future post/letters.
Thanks and Good Luck, Frank Henry, "Full Voting Rights" Advocate.

...even the US supreme court has indicated this fact.
We need voices for the voiceless. Please, thank you, Good Luck.
