Sounds like favoritism to me. A crime is a crime no matter who commits it and should be punishable by law.

From the newspaper today:
Former KVOA anchor Martha Vazquez entered what's called a "diversion plea" in connection with a shoplifting charge from a Feb incident, a city prosecutor said Mon. If Vazquez pays a $180 fee & attends a 7.5 hr counseling session by 8/15 her shoplifting charge will be dismissed, Tucson City Prosecutor Baird Greene said.
Vazquez entered the plea Mon before Tucson Magistrate Jeffrey Klotz. Greene said "It's a standard plea for someone in her situation".
Vasquez resigned from the TV station 2/13 after being cited for shoplifting. A 'store loss prevention officer' (HA!) told police he saw her stealing a $30 pr of earrings & $338 jacket from Dillard's at Tucson Mall.

Audreybeans. It's processed through ammonia and other chemicals to kill bacteria because they use parts that are no longer good for human consumption. Would you eat that?

Next they'll probably be putting peanut butter on a burger and call it some asian thing. Oh wait is that a new idea? Watch someone grab it!

Imn sure martha must be getting treatment by now for this and will be better and might make a statement to the news to everyone about it. Something tells me that she will come back maybe on another station or maybe work for the papers.

On another note whatever happened to Brandon Gunnoe? He was the anchorperson(or whatever they call it) and havent seen him except for some news bits here and there. He was excellent why did they replace him with someone else?

Did she finally get locked up?
