Watch the Austin City Limits Festival From the Comfort of Your La-Z-Boy

I don't know about you, but I'm not a big fan of massive music festivals. Maybe I've just gotten spoiled by seeing bands in clubs, or maybe I just don't like battling 75,000 people trying to all gawk at the same stage (it certainly doesn't help that I'm a short dude), or maybe I just don't like spending five bucks on a bottle of water. It's actually a combination of all those things.

But I sometimes feel left out when my friends pile into their cars with camping gear to go on a road trip to see a festival. Not because I miss driving for 14 hours each way, or going days without a shower. The thing is, most big festivals are just plain loaded with great acts I'd love to see, but it's just not worth the hassle for me.

Luckily, more and more festivals have taken to streaming portions of the action online, and this weekend's Austin City Limits Music Festival is no exception.

From Friday, Oct. 12, through Sunday, Oct. 14, you can catch dozens of acts performing at the fest via YouTube here.

Head there now to check out a schedule of what will be streamed, and plan your weekend around it. To enhance the experience, you can always refrain from showering and invite a bunch of friends over to crowd around your computer screen and fight for the best sightline.
