Fimbres, Kozachik and Uhlich Cruise to Reelection

In the City of Tucson election, all the races have been decided by wide margins, somewhat surprisingly in the case of Ward 3, as Karin Uhlich greatly expanded her margin of victory over Ben Buehler-Garcia from just over a hundred votes in 2009 to thousands this year. Uhlich told Jim Nintzel, "We were singled out from the get-go, everything was thrown at us. We won and we won big, and that means we're on the right track."

Ward 5's Richard Fimbres, who has a similarly large lead over Mike Polak, said "We moved this city forward, but lots more needs to be done. We're not out of the tunnel yet, but we're moving forward."
