In this week's Currents feature, "Aussies (and Wildcats) Gone Wild," we mentioned that the owners of Blacked Out Media, the company that filmed the party in question, asked that their names not be used in the story—even though a basic look through Blacked Out's social media pages linked the company to David Lee Orr, a University of Arizona student.
Orr responded today, with an email to reporter Brian J. Pedersen, who wrote the article. His comments are below.

Following up on the article you published and just wanted to leave my closing comments. Since you published my name, I would appreciate it if you would consider updating the article with my comments.
"I'm a businessman. This is business. I was in Chicago on business for one of my other companies during this event. I own the business and it is a company that develops videos, plain and simple. Other companies do the same, but I want mine to be the best."
In addition, I have several other businesses that I would be happy to share with you should you be interested.
UPDATE: Now would be a good time to note that it appears Orr has scrubbed Blacked Out's social media pages of any reference to him, and his personal Twitter account of a link to Blacked Out...though he does appear to include links to his various parody Twitter accounts, including @yaboybillnye, @thehistorybook and @yaboyhighguy, all of which feature a number of characters saying..."interesting" things.
