Grog was Jamaican rum, diluted with water and fed to the Royal Navy guys chasing pirates around the Caribbean. You can't really buy grog at Plaza Liquors, but they have a fine selection of rum. And beer. And wine. And other liquors. Stacked almost to the ceiling. Typical excited comment from an employee: "We got a shitload of new stuff in this week!" These folks have it all. "Cheap White Wine" with a plain brown wrapper. "Georgia Moon Corn Whiskey--Less Than 30 Days Old" in a Mason jar. They carry a plethora of fine wines, exotic booze and enough foreign beers to last a lifetime. Forget the pillaging--just plunk down your doubloons at Plaza, and let the carousing begin.
