Govinda's has always been a giver of love, and in 2013, Tucson is giving the love back. This restaurant definitely has the best selection of cruelty-free eats, and with a bang for your buck. For less than $10, get yourself a plate piled high with rice, seitan, potatoes and delicious coconut chutney. And then do it again. Vegetarians and vegans rejoice on Sunday mornings when the brunch buffet is fresh and steaming. There's not a place like it elsewhere in Tucson. Govinda's is unique and quirky, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Take a look around the grounds when you go and check out the peacocks and koi fish. And once you get your plate of goodies, maybe find a seat next to the parrots; they're great conversationalists.
