Don't let the white tablecloths and cool décor fool you; Tavolino is anything but a fancy restaurant. Like many tratorrias in Italy, this small dining venue is a comfortable, family-run dining spot. The food is prepared with a wise and loving hand. Pastas are freshly made, which results in tender lasagna, ravioli and tagliatelle, and all the entrées are seasoned just so. The wine list is small but smart, and the service is friendly yet professional. Desserts will knock your socks off. Tavolino works for that romantic evening for two or as a great place to get together with friends and family. The little Italian "deli' next door is run by the same folks with the same results. Reservations highly recommended.
