Shortly before his death, Warren Zevon told David Letterman that the life lesson he had learned best was to "enjoy every sandwich." Seriously. Primarily, that's what people who frequent Beyond Bread do. With so many combinations and possibilities to choose from, one has to be strategic in deciding how to attack the menu before getting in line. Specialty ingredients, melded in exotic combinations, include fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, artichoke hearts and havarti. Of course, traditional fare is available, and all of it is placed between slices of fresh-baked bread that is so good, Beyond Bread could probably get away with selling an all-bread sandwich if it wanted to.
