"When Doves Fly," you'll hear about it first on the Old Pueblo's only 4 p.m. news show. The entire on-air news crew at KVOA can proudly say, "Somebody's Watching Me." The station has built a loyal viewership with longtime stalwarts like Martha Vasquez, Sandy Rathbun, Lupita Murillo and Jimmy Stewart. The main anchors are relative newcomers: Tom McNamara, here since 1997, and Kristi Tedesco, who grew up here and returned in 2004. Douglas-born Lorraine Rivera anchors the morning show, Tucson Today. KVOA also spots great up-and-coming talent. Case in point: Former KVOA morning anchor Savannah Guthrie is now covering the White House for NBC.
