Sure, they're not doing avant-garde politically-themed pieces on the eastside at the Gaslight, but is there a more reliable live entertainment option in town, six nights a week, five shows a year, with as much popcorn as you can eat? Each show offers both a generally wacky take on a pop culture phenomenon of the past or present (this summer's "Ghostblasters" was especially charming), plus an extra vaudeville-esque olio. For the price of two movie tickets for adults, you get to see some very talented Tucsonans work their craft. What more could you ask for?
