Cold Stone Creamery

Ice cream has come a long way. The possibilities are such that we needed a helpful Cold Stone staff person to explain the process. First, we choose the ice cream, yogurt or sorbet that is the basis of the concoction. Samples are offered. Then, we choose from a large selection of nuts, candies and fruits to be mixed into the ice cream. A poster showing possibilities is on the wall. Or you can just ask what goes well with your ice cream. Toasted almonds and a Heath bar were recommended for coffee ice cream. Yum! All of this is placed onto a frozen slab and mixed together. Plain waffle or chocolate-covered waffle cups are offered. The result: an extravaganza of taste.
