We'd like to tell you exactly the same things we've told you over the last several years when Feig's was voted Best Delicatessen--for example, we'd like to mention the delicious corn beef, latkes, matzo-ball soup, whitefish and noodle kugel. But Feig's, dear readers, closed in early June. However, take heart: The space at 5071 E. Fifth St. has gone through a kosher transformation into the Fifth Street Deli (5thstreetdeli.com), by the folks who own L'Chaim Catering. They've promised corn beef and other kosher standards. Let's see if they live up to your expectations in the next Best of Tucson™.
