If you want to treat your kids to some meaningless fun that can create joy and love for a few hours, take them to the rat-and-pizza palace. This isn't a gourmet pizza kitchen. Wolfgang Puck is in Los Angeles, folks. But the kids like it and seem to want more, so that must be a good sign. The young ones never hold on to the door in resistance when everyone leaves to head to Chuck E.'s. Instead, they grab their cup with the extra game tokens from the last visit, run to the car and buckle up—before you even get to the driver's door.
