STAFF PICK: Flores and Sons has been in the same location on North Main Avenue since William Flores Sr. started up in 1929. His son, William Flores Jr., carries on the family tradition at the age of 87. Tucson has plenty of welders who can throw together security bars, but only Flores still keeps a hot forge in the ancient blacksmith tradition. He fires it up almost every day, and can make beautiful custom wrought iron domestica, from door hardware to curtain rods, as well as horseshoes and anything else you might dream up.
