The Drawing Studio artist/teachers inspire Tucsonans of all ages and cultures to see the world more deeply, to be more attentive, and to let that attention come through them as art. Students can start with basic drawing/seeing, or try something different, like Japanese ink-painting, monoprinting or encaustic painting. Classes are offered in three spacious teaching studios, a fully equipped printmaking studio, or out on the streets of downtown or at the zoo. Their gallery shows of student work are not to be missed; the classes here seem to make a visionary out of each and every student.
