I love Tucson, I really do, but our whole state is aggressively ignorant. We have wrecked education in every way possible. Spend some time in our public schools, including the U of A, and tell me McFarlane is wrong. I wish we'd spend less time debating whether he's correct and spend more time trying to fix our glaring failures.
Ah yes... We abortion loving, weed smoking, fiscally irresponsible, one-size-fits-all leftists. And those on the right are all gun-toting, heterosexual, bible thumping, white men. It's nice to live in an easy world.
There sure are a lot of angry people out there. For all that anger, the only thing y'all have changed is your blood pressure. The election will be what it is and the world will end or it won't, regardless of who is elected. No big. Chill, yo.
I don't think they look like a Neo-Nazi group, Old man, but a quick perusal of their website indicates that they are radical religious right-wing fear-based reactionaries. Jesse should feel right at home there.
To read her post above, Tara really sounds like something is not firing on all cylinders. There's some kind of delusional paranoia acting there from the sounds of things. Her attempt to compare Inman to Loughner, in a community that was so profoundly affected by Loughner's actions, is remarkably offensive, insensitive, and selfish. She wants to make Inman sound scary, but she's the one who comes across as a dangerous lunatic. Maybe her husband just keeps kicking Inman's hornet's nest so he'll have a reason to get out of the house and away from her.
