The author of this article should read the Constitution. However I doubt he would understand it. Saying the Tea Party doesn't drink shows that he has a severe lack of knowledge about those people and what they stand for. I bet the Tea Party is a larger beer drinking crowd and stands to be a much larger market that the elitist liberals. For example, the liberals are the ones trying to limit soda consumption.
This gov shutdown is simply our system working within the checks and balances granted by our framers. Obama has been ignoring the Constitution and acting like a dictator. When the Republicans take the Senate next year he and several other Democrats will be tried and impeached.
So I'm sorry your beer permits will have to wait a couple weeks, but there are much bigger problems to deal with now. How long will you have to wait for a beer permit when the govt is bankrupt?
