Bumsted's does a Bacon Bash at the end of every month. I'm not sure if they are still doing it, but to my knowledge they are. I've had some great bacon laden dishes from them and I don't even like bacon that much (I'm a mutant).
When I first heard of The Mint, it was described to me as a "a sketch looking place but the drinks are cheap." That's fine for a recreational drinker, but it's not what I had in mind for the locale of a classy burlesque show. These women and men put A LOT into their craft and the venue should match that - outside and in. Outside ESPECIALLY. If the owner wants to help burlesque grow in Tucson, it's time to invest in the exterior and bring it up to the standard of quality that the dancers of Don't Blink Burlesque themselves embody.
Best Eggs Benedict in town. Their hollandaise sauce is unparalleled. It just has this kick to it that I haven't found anywhere else and miss greatly when dining elsewhere. And their cappuccino is the size of your head!
This restaurant is lovely. Owner, Vila, actually came and sat at our table, talked to us about the menu and took her time taking our order, answered questions and made great recommendations. She was incredibly nice and hospitable. The atmosphere is not overly trendy but on point and intimate and it leaves you feeling like you've dined in a big city but you get to walk out of that fantastic courtyard right back into the cozy arms of Tucson.
