I just met the folks at this center and I am so impressed. Just very nice people who mean well and offer free services to people wanting to learn meditation or about Buddhism. Their Buddha room is really beautiful, too, and it's worth stopping in for a peek at it.

Great article! What an interesting take on this whole bizzare circumstance we find ourselves in.
Whoa, someone needs a beer!
I think it's brave to open Jimmy Hula's there. The "if it isn't local it sucks" line is tired. It's being opened by a Tucson guy anyway and if the food and service is good, what's the problem? And frankly the stoned, crazy, loud, wild, colorful, blissed out scene on Fourth Avenue is wonderful. Plenty of lawyers, doctors, cops, city councilmen and others down there too. Mr. Big Shot, in this case you are mistaken, but we will forgive your foolishness.
I've already suggested the owner name something after Boatner's. I was thinking a signature beer from a local brewery, like "Boatner's Seaside Ale" or a Boatner's taco or something.
He taught me how to write, how to laugh at my mistakes. Shit he was cool.
I love this article. More of these darling little succinct information gems please.
Good food coverage week after week, smart writing, error-free. Methinks you should continue writing this column for the good of Tucson diners.
