If you're expecting Grovelnor Doucey to go against the advice of Dr. T. Rump? Don't hold your breath (unless you don't have a mask, that is!) Not likely! He has not only drunk the Kool-Aid, he bathes in it daily!
So a prisoner can be potentially sentenced to death for any crime at all! This represents criminal malfeasance on the part of our prison system. We need to do a lot more testing!
I wondered about this as I was scheduled to sign books and tell stories. They made the correct decision. It is a hard thing for Tucson but in light of what is going on, it had to be done. People come from all over and it would be so hard to control any spread. I hope I will see everyone next year.
The wall is an act of foolish vanity by one stupid man. He is willing to ignore everything, including laws, all common sense, and public protest, in order to gratify his pathetic little ego. Having been emboldened, trolls and ogres are truly legion these days. It appalls me that so many have bought into the lies of charlatans made loud by ignorance. We can only hope, David, that most who read your words actually think, reason and infer the wealth of your argument as greater than the lucre so coveted by the few and lauded by the unimaginative. If not, our story, as a species, may yet be unavoidably foreshortened. I give it even odds.
Unfortunately this is "business as usual" for Douchey and his cronies, "all for one and one for himself!" is their byline. It will be a wonder if Arizona can survive their malfeasance!
