In case you hadn’t heard, Cage the Elephant is once more out of the cage and back on the streets.

Remember Cage the Elephant? They’re the band that caught America by the balls back in 2009 with a self-titled debut album Cage the Elephant, a straight-up, no-additives-added offering of pure rock ’n’ roll. Since then, the band has been soldiering on in the name of good rock, releasing a sophomore album and touring almost constantly for the past four years. Until now, that is.

The Kentucky-bred Southern rockers recently finished up studio work on their third major effort, a full-length album entitled Melophobia. The new album has been the cause of small riot in the the musical world after the tantalizing single "Come a Little Closer" was released on August 8. Make no mistake: People are getting hungry. They want elephant.

Well, I got your fix. Just last Monday, the boys teamed up with RollingStone to offer a preemptive listen of the highly anticipated, album. The magazine’s website is now offering exclusive streaming of the finished Melophobia in its entirety. And it’s good. Click here to stream the album via RollingStone.

Check out highlight tracks such as the ripping, Clash-esque “It’s Just Forever,” the slinky, grooving “Come a Little Closer,” or the lackadaisical “Hypocrite”. The album will be available for purchase through RCA Records on Oct. 8.
