Arrest Made in Friday's Hit and Run Accident
Thankfully, the police tracked down the driver who allegedly struck a bicyclist on Swan and drove off Friday night:
The Tucson Police Department received a tip regarding the vehicle possibly involved in the hit and run collision that left a 23-year-old male in serious condition on Friday May 20, 2011. Traffic Detectives conducted a follow-up investigation on the information received and located the owner of the vehicle. Based off the evidence collected, the owner of the vehicle 21 year-old Abigail A. Allin was charged with one count each of Leaving the Scene of a Serious Injury Collision (at fault driver), Causing Serious Injury with a Motor Vehicle while Driver License Suspended, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. She was booked into the Pima County Jail early this morning.
