Gov. Brewer to Attend Dinner Honoring the "Faith Based" President

No, not Barack Obama, who has spent an extensive amount of time discussing how his Christian faith impacts his life. It's that other guy, the one before Obama.

We are delighted to invite you to the epic, "can't miss" event of the season, as we welcome President George W. Bush to Arizona to speak at our 50th Anniversary Celebration on March 16, 2011.

This is not a political event, but an opportunity to honor, in person, a President who demonstrated class, dignity and an unwavering faith in God through some difficult challenges for our nation. At the same time, we will look forward to the next exciting half-century for Arizona Christian University, as we prepare leaders who can influence culture through their Christian faith — leaders like President Bush, who never failed to acknowledge his dependence on God and his faith in Jesus Christ.

Arizona Christian University exists to equip followers of Christ to be leaders in every area of human influence — leaders who will transform culture with truth. We are a regionally accredited, nondenominational evangelical Christian college providing majors in Business Administration, Behavioral Health, Education, Music, Biblical Studies and Christian Ministries. As we expand into new areas of influence, we plan to add majors in Political Science, Communications and Biology.

President Bush is a tremendous example of one who took his faith in Christ with him into the most powerful position on earth, and we are delighted to be able to honor him on March 16th. Please join us!

Len Munsil, Esq.
President, Arizona Christian University

No, doesn't sound political at all, especially when the university (formerly Southwestern College) is headed by former Republican candidate for governor, Len Munsil, and the current governor will be attendance. What could be political about that?
