Making Paper Art With A Mother-Daughter Tucson Meet Yourself Team

Posted By on Thu, Oct 7, 2010 at 12:17 PM

In the latest entry of our Tucson Meet Yourself video series, we catch up with Maria de Jesus Robles and Aida Martz, a mother-daughter pair who practice the art of papel picado. You've probably seen the banderolas associated with the practice of cutting and folding thin, colorful sheets of tissue paper.

The 37th annual Tucson Meet Yourself cultural festival happens this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 8-10) downtown.
