CD8: Miller Shoots Down GOP Young Guns
Dan Shearer of the Green Valley News shares an intriguing tidbit about Congressional District 8 Republican Brian Miller:
So he was invited in to talk to somebody from Young Guns. That’s a group that identifies potential movers in the GOP and helps them along in their bids for a House seat.Who wouldn’t want the help? Well, turns out Miller didn’t once he found out the price.
Miller would have essentially had to give up control of everything and let them take over, he told me. Young Guns wanted “unlimited access” to his campaign, told him he could only use their approved vendors, and said that they would be making all of his strategic decisions.
Miller walked out of the meeting, turned to his aide and said, “We won’t be working with them.”
